MORINGA MINT TEA

Sometimes called the “miracle tree” or “drumstick tree,” moringa oleifera has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. The combination of moringa and peppermint delivers the health benefits of both plants, including helping to relieve joint pain and heartburn and reducing symptoms of the common cold.

Research on Moringa

A study on the corrective potential of moringa oleifera leaves in chronic hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia concluded that there was compelling evidence that moringa oleifera has a therapeutic effect on both of those chronic conditions.

Additional studies assert that moringa oleifera is a highly-valued plant, with an impressive amount of nutritional value. Various parts of the moringa contain vital minerals, and are a great source of protein, beta-carotene, vitamins, amino acids and phenolics.

Parts of the moringa plant – such as the leaves, roots, bark and seed – serve as circulatory and cardiac stimulants, contain antiepileptic, antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer, antihypertensive, antispasmodic, diuretic, cholesterol reducing, antioxidant, antidiabetic, antibacterial and antifungal properties, and are being used to treat different illnesses in the indigenous system of medicine.
